- Lessem INVESTMENT
We go big and don’t go home!
Joel Lessem is a serial SaaS entrepreneur, who grew his business plan to a nine-figure exit. He now spends his time advising and investing in select SaaS businesses. Lessem Investments deals are backed by a group of LPs who are almost exclusively founder CEOs of successfully exited SaaS companies. We know the anxiety and euphoria of running a start up from zero to 100s of employees without a lot of capital.
What Problem Do We Solve?
As non-institutionally funded SaaS founders navigate their growing businesses, they become anxious about holding 90%+ of their personal net worth in their business. Lessem Investments purchases some founder equity, so founders can diversify their personal assets. If needed we provide additional capital to accelerate growth. Most importantly we offer tactical and strategic advice to help the organization prosper.
What Makes Us Different?
Every business has a path. Some longer, others shorter. Unlike the venture world, failure is not an option. We go big and don’t go home. We don’t need to return an entire fund to make up for failed investments. We aim to make a reasonable return while protecting everyone’s equity. We take a data driven and pragmatic approach to ensuring the results are highly probable. Having been through decades of growing SaaS business, we cut through the buzzy drumbeat of the tech scene so you can focus on what matters. We are empathetic to the founder’s journey and what it takes to be successful.
